The power and eloquence of a crashing waterfall is captured in one frame looking into the teeth of Yosemite's Nevada Fall.
I wanted to make a statement about the crushing power of this waterfall and felt this image not only revealed the power of the fall, but also revealed and artistic, almost abstract eloquence as an added bonus. To successfully capture this image required me to lean over a metal railing (fortunately I'm tall) and angle my camera/lens downward into the fall. The experiance alone was worth the effort. The booming, crashing sound of the waterfall only added to the experience.
